“It was a leap of faith for me to order a custom sculpture online for my husband’s retirement party, but Doug made it easy and fun. He was patient with all my many questions, and quick to respond to my emails. He sent a small video of each step in the process, which was reassuring for me, as well as interesting and informative, and the guests at the party enjoyed them too. Doug figured out all the options for payment and shipping to Canada, as that was a new experience for both of us. The whole process, from ordering to delivery in a custom-built crate, was amazingly quick, well before the deadline. And the piece itself is gorgeous. I knew when I saw it online that my husband would like it, but no picture can do it justice. You can see the precision in every detail, and it immediately carries us back to the stunning experience of witnessing lava flows in Hawaii.
